To vigorously promote the spirit of Canton entrepreneurs, showcase their achievements, and unite their wisdom and strength to push for the great development and improvement of Guangdong’s private economy, the Third Canton Entrepreneur Conference, hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Commission of Economy and Informatization, and the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce, will be held on September 23 in Guangzhou. The theme of the conference is “A New Mission of Canton Entrepreneurs to Unite Power for New Leaps”.

On the 19th, reporters from the organizing committee of the Third Canton Entrepreneur Conference learned that the main content of the conference includes honoring the builders of the Fourth Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in Guangdong Province, awarding the “2016 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangdong Province”, unveiling the establishment of Gortune Investment Co., Ltd. (“Gortune Investment”), holding a major investment project signing ceremony, and signing strategic cooperation agreements between the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce and major financial institutions in Guangzhou. The conference will also feature the Canton Entrepreneur Summit Forum and organize local government investment attraction presentations and a business inspection tour of the Nansha Free Trade Zone. National leaders, including the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Wang Qinmin, along with key leaders from the provincial Party committee and government, will attend and deliver speeches. Relevant departments directly under the provincial government and the main leaders of Party and government above the prefecture city level will also attend the meeting. More than 1,200 participants, including well-known entrepreneurs from Guangdong, representatives of Canton entrepreneurs from across the country, and notable figures from the Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas business communities, will attend the conference. The “Canton Entrepreneur Summit Forum”, one of the key events, will invite 6-8 well-known Canton entrepreneurs to focus on the most pressing economic issues that society is concerned with. They will deliver keynote speeches and engage in interactive discussions with participants, sharing this intellectual feast.

It is reported that in 2008 and 2010, the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce, in collaboration with the Provincial Commission of Economy and Informatization and other organizations, successfully hosted the Canton Entrepreneur Conference twice, which received positive feedback from the business and social sectors both at home and abroad. These events have further enhanced the social image of Canton entrepreneurs, expanded their social influence, and united the wisdom and strength of Canton entrepreneurs. According to the organizing committee, this conference is another grand gathering of Canton entrepreneurs both domestically and internationally since the second conference in 2010.
